Okay now we are going to have a look at how to add an addon domain, so we’ll go ahead and opened that one up, now an add-on domain should not be confused with a sub domain , so lets crack on we will have a look now select the add-on domains icon. Now an add-on domain does not require its own control panel, you will administer the add-on domain from within your main control panel there is something to point out, you will also when registering your new domain this is a full domain it just sits on top of your existing domain in the control panel so you will need to update your name servers in the same way that you update it with the name servers for the existing domain name on this account. So will select the add-on domains icon. Now at present you will see there are no current add-on domains so we will go ahead and act the new add-on domain in the top box, now again I will point out that this domain needs to be updated with your with your domain registrar it needs to point to your hosts name servers just the same way that your main domain does. This is a cheap way of getting several domain names to sit on a single hosting account. So we add your domain name your user and password and we click add, now you’ve created your add-on domain, see panel at this point will automatically create FTP access for this account, you’ll need to upload your files in the same way that you normally would but you will upload them to this format it’ll be your site sites regular domain name/your add-on domain name because see panel creates a user folder in the name of your add-on domain.
